Microsoft (MSFT, Financial) has announced the development of two new infrastructure chips designed for data centers. These chips aim to enhance artificial intelligence capabilities and improve data security. By creating custom chips, Microsoft aims to reduce its reliance on processors from Intel (INTC) and Nvidia (NVDA).
Additionally, Microsoft introduced a new version of its data center server cooling system. This system employs liquid cooling to reduce the temperature of nearby components, supporting large-scale AI systems efficiently.
