Kingsoft Cloud (KC, Financial) showcased two new ninth-generation cloud server products at Intel's New Productivity Technology Ecosystem Conference, boosting its stock by 17% at market close. The latest performance-enhanced X9 model, now available for invitation testing, features Intel® Xeon® 6 performance cores, offering significantly improved computational power. It boasts an all-core turbo frequency of up to 3.8GHz, single-socket performance 2.5 times that of the previous generation, 12 memory channels, and a memory frequency of up to 6400MT/s. Key features include AMX training inference acceleration and new FP16 support, enhancing floating-point operations.
The company also plans to collaborate with ecosystem partners to develop a more efficient cloud service computing platform. Recently, Kingsoft Cloud reported improved third-quarter results, with an adjusted EBITDA rate continuing to improve, up 12.6 percentage points year-over-year. Everbright Securities predicts Kingsoft Cloud's operational profit margin could turn positive by 2025, supported by its role as the strategic cloud platform within the Xiaomi & Kingsoft ecosystem.
