JD.com (JD, Financial) has announced its 2024 year-end bonus plan, committing to a 17-salary package, with some employees receiving up to 20 salaries annually based on performance. The retail and functional systems aim to implement this structure over two years starting from October 1st, gradually increasing to a 20-salary package for all departments.
For the first year of this upgrade, employees with A+ performance ratings will receive bonuses equivalent to eight months' salary, translating to a full 20-salary year. Other performance ratings will receive varied bonuses, such as A ratings getting 18.5 salaries and B+ ratings receiving 17 salaries. Procurement employees, who began their bonus upgrade in July, will average 23 salaries this year, with a target of 26 salaries by 2026.
Overall, JD.com expects a significant increase in total year-end bonus expenditure, with most employees receiving between five to eight months' worth of bonuses.
