NVIDIA (NVDA, Financial) has introduced the GB200 NVL4, a mid-range platform designed for modern data centers, balancing performance and energy efficiency. The GB200 NVL4 features dual Arm-based Grace CPUs and four Blackwell GPUs, making it ideal for AI and high-performance computing applications. This platform offers 1.3 TB of unified memory and supports fast PCIe connections, enhancing data transfer and system flexibility.
The GB200 NVL4 is an energy-efficient alternative to NVIDIA's earlier systems, consuming about 6kW of power, which is significantly lower than previous models like the DGX-1. NVIDIA is also planning to launch the next-generation GB300 AI server platform at the GTC conference in 2025, featuring the B300 AI GPU with enhanced performance and memory capabilities.
