Tesla is set to recall 294 Model S and Model X vehicles from the 2024-2025 lineup, as disclosed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The recall is prompted by a defect in the driver's side airbag, which may tear upon deployment. This flaw could compromise the airbag's ability to protect passengers adequately during a collision, heightening the risk of injury. Tesla's after-sales service team will replace the airbag assembly free of charge to address this issue.
