Cerence (CRNC, Financial), a leader in automotive voice AI technology, has announced an expanded partnership with NVIDIA (NVDA) to enhance its language models used in vehicles. Cerence's stock surged by 72%, while NVIDIA's increased by over 3% following the announcement.

This collaboration aims to leverage NVIDIA's AI Enterprise software and DRIVE AGX Orin hardware to advance Cerence's cloud-based embedded language models, CaLLM and CaLLM Edge. The integration of NVIDIA's technology is expected to optimize the performance of these language models, offering faster and more reliable in-car assistant performance.
