According to recent reports from tech journalist Mark Gurman, the next generation entry-level iPad is set to support Apple Intelligence's AI feature suite. The upcoming iPad 11 will undergo two significant upgrades: the incorporation of the A17 Pro chip and an increase to 8GB of RAM. These enhancements will align the iPad 11's chipset and unified memory with the latest iPad mini.
Gurman anticipates that the iPad 11 models will be launched in the spring. He has also confirmed that the new iPhone SE and iPad are in development based on iOS 18.3. However, these devices are expected to be released before iOS 18.4, sometime before April, rather than being launched simultaneously.
