Royal Caribbean (RCL) Stock Rises on Strong Earnings and Optimistic Forecast

Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL, Financial) saw its stock rise by 5.3% in pre-market trading, reaching $249.4. This increase follows the release of the company's fourth-quarter financial results, which showed revenue of $3.76 billion, a 13% year-over-year growth. Although slightly below the analyst expectation of $3.77 billion, the company reported an adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.63, surpassing the forecasted $1.50.

Looking ahead, Royal Caribbean is optimistic about its annual performance, projecting adjusted EPS between $14.35 and $14.65, higher than the analyst consensus of $14.41. This positive outlook is driven by increased bookings for private destinations and luxury cruises.
