The chip, however, will not be available through Microsoft's Azure cloud for now. There is potential for future versions to offer greater capacity.
In addition to this development, Microsoft plans to collaborate with U.S. laboratories and universities to utilize Majorana 1 for further research, indicating the company's commitment to advancing quantum computing technology.
