Apple (AAPL, Financial) has announced the expansion of its personalized artificial intelligence system, Apple Intelligence, to include several new languages. This system will be available in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese. The expanded language support will launch in EU countries in April and will include localized English versions in Singapore and India.
The language update coincides with a series of operating system updates, including iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia15.4, which have been released to developers. For the first time, users in the EU using iPhones and iPads will have access to the Apple Intelligence features. Furthermore, these capabilities will also be expanded to Apple's Vision Pro product line.
Apple has highlighted that the deployment of Apple Intelligence in China is contingent upon regulatory approval. Despite the system's support for Chinese, users with China-issued iPhones may experience a delay before gaining access to these features.
