March 5 - According to Reuters, the new group at Amazon's (AMZN, Financial) AWS has been established to focus on developing artificial intelligence based on an internal email issued on Tuesday. The new group with Swami Sivasubramanian as leader heads directly to AWS CEO Matt Garman.

Garman expressed through the internal email that agentic AI presents AWS with a future business opportunity worth multiple billions. The newly formed team has the mission to create automated solutions that let operational systems work autonomously without requiring human direction. Amazon continues to develop its own Artificial Intelligence model with advanced reasoning attributes despite new reports on its construction activities.

AWS plans to release its Nova brand in June as a revolutionary step in their AI strategic initiatives. Recent sector-led innovations have driven Microsoft-backed OpenAI to introduce the "deep research" feature of ChatGPT, which automates multi-step internet research for complex queries.
