Tesla (TSLA, Financial) is reportedly collaborating with Chinese tech giant Baidu to enhance its advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) performance in China. This initiative follows feedback from customers after a recent Tesla software upgrade. According to sources, Baidu has dispatched a team of engineers from its mapping division to Tesla's Beijing office. Their goal is to integrate Baidu's up-to-date, precise navigation data with Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) Version 13 software.

The collaboration is expected to improve Tesla's understanding of China's roadways, leveraging Baidu's advanced mapping technology. The exact number of engineers involved and the duration of their assignment are not disclosed.
