BP Moves Forward with Major Gas Project in Trinidad and Tobago

BP (BP, Financial) has decided to advance its Ginger gas development project in Trinidad and Tobago, marking its fourth subsea endeavor in the region. This project, one of ten new initiatives outlined in the company's strategic update, will feature four subsea wells connected to BP’s Mahogany B platform. The Ginger project is anticipated to achieve an average production capacity of 62,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2027. Additionally, BP has discovered another offshore gas reserve at the Frangipani well, reinforcing its commitment to maximizing output from existing sites.
