Amazon (AMZN, Financials) launched a new website and software development kit to expand access to its Nova generative artificial intelligence models, according to a statement from the company on Monday.

The site, nova.amazon.com, allows developers and technical users to test Amazon's Nova models, which include tools for generating text, images and video, the company said in the statement. A research preview of the Nova Act software development kit was also released, enabling users to build AI agents that perform actions within a web browser, Amazon said.

Amazon first introduced the Nova foundation models in December 2024 at its re:Invent conference, with integration into Amazon Bedrock, its platform offering access to foundation models from multiple AI providers, according to the statement.

The Nova lineup includes three text generation models—Nova Micro, Lite and Pro—and two models for image and video generation, known as Nova Canvas and Nova Reel, the company said. These models are accessible through nova.amazon.com or within Bedrock, according to the statement.

The Nova Act SDK allows developers to build agents capable of breaking down tasks into basic web commands, such as search or checkout, and add detailed instructions or make application programming interface calls, Amazon said in the statement.

U.S.-based users with an Amazon account can access nova.amazon.com to explore the models or download the SDK, the company said.
