The study involved the analysis of 252 drill core samples, assessing major elements, trace elements, and rare-earth elements to evaluate hydrothermal alteration in deeply buried intrusive targets.
Key findings highlight substantial hydrothermal alteration within the 'Spider Hole' area, where mass/volume gains point to significant mineralization potential. The alteration encompasses an influx of Silica, Sodium, Calcium, Carbonate, and Total Iron, along with elements like arsenic, zinc, gold, and boron. An airborne magnetotelluric survey identified a large 2 km diameter conductive halo surrounding an intrusive target, emphasizing the area's exploration potential.
