Taranis Resources Inc. (TSX.V:TRO, OTCQB:TNREF) has completed a comprehensive mass-balance alteration study of their 2024 deep drilling program at the Thor project in Southeast British Columbia. The study involved the analysis of 252 drill core samples, assessing major elements, trace elements, and rare-earth elements to evaluate hydrothermal alteration in deeply buried intrusive targets.

Key findings highlight substantial hydrothermal alteration within the 'Spider Hole' area, where mass/volume gains point to significant mineralization potential. The alteration encompasses an influx of Silica, Sodium, Calcium, Carbonate, and Total Iron, along with elements like arsenic, zinc, gold, and boron. An airborne magnetotelluric survey identified a large 2 km diameter conductive halo surrounding an intrusive target, emphasizing the area's exploration potential.

Drill hole Thor-242 notably intersected rocks with 3-4% graphitic carbon within this conductive feature, reinforcing the possibility of a large intrusive-hosted deposit enriched in precious and base metals. This effort is part of Taranis's strategy to locate new mineral resources linked to the Thor epithermal deposit.

The advancement follows Taranis's strategic utilization of mass-balance ('Gresen') alteration analysis to measure hydrothermal changes associated with mineral deposits, allowing targeted exploration and reduced drilling costs. Despite temporary setbacks related to accessing certain areas, Taranis remains focused on advancing exploration at Thor, with continued efforts to secure necessary permits.
