DoorDash (DASH) Expands Robot Delivery Service with Coco Robotics in U.S. | DASH Stock News

DoorDash (DASH, Financial) has extended its collaboration with Coco Robotics to increase the availability of robot-powered deliveries in select American cities. This follows a successful trial with Wolt, DoorDash's international subsidiary, where Coco's robots have been operating in Helsinki since earlier this year.

In the United States, this initiative is now active in Los Angeles and Chicago. Customers using the DoorDash app in these cities can check for the availability of Coco's environmentally friendly, sidewalk-traveling robots. These robots are available from approximately 600 participating merchants, offering a unique delivery option powered entirely by renewable energy.

This expanded service underscores DoorDash's commitment to enhancing delivery efficiency and sustainability, aligning with broader trends in the logistics industry to reduce emissions and leverage innovative technology.
