HopSkipDrive, a leading technology company focused on innovative transportation solutions, announced the appointment of Dave Lissy to its Board of Directors. Lissy, who previously served as CEO of Bright Horizons Family Solutions (BFAM, Financial) from 2002 to 2018, brings a wealth of experience from the education and care sectors. Under his leadership, Bright Horizons became a leader in early education services and employer-sponsored childcare.

Currently, Lissy is the Chairman of Bright Horizons' Board and also holds the position of Chairman at Redfin (RDFN). In addition to these roles, he serves on the boards of Benchmark Senior Living and BeneLynk, and as Chair Emeritus of Ithaca College.

Dave Lissy's appointment comes at a pivotal time for HopSkipDrive, as the company is expanding its operations into new markets, including Atlanta, GA, Kansas City, KS, and Virginia Beach, VA. This strategic move aims to extend the company's reach and reinforce its commitment to enhancing transportation solutions for students.

In line with its expansion efforts, HopSkipDrive has also launched a groundbreaking AI-driven transportation planning platform called RouteWise AIâ„¢. This innovative platform is designed to help school districts improve transportation efficiency and safety, addressing challenges such as budget constraints and bus driver shortages.

Lissy joins a distinguished Board of Directors at HopSkipDrive, which includes Rick Heitzmann, Loni Mahanta, Ben Birnbaum, and Cassie Bowe. Together, they are poised to guide the company in its mission to create opportunities through mobility and ensure that transportation does not become a barrier to educational access.
