  • Exceptional DLE pilot results with up to 95% lithium recovery
  • Large resource base with 5.19M tonnes LCE measured & indicated and 24.47M tonnes inferred
  • Commercial modules capable of producing ~3,500 tpa LCE

LithiumBank Resources Corp. (LBNKF, Financial) has announced successful results from its Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) pilot testing, demonstrating up to 95% lithium recovery and over 99% impurity rejection from its Boardwalk and Park Place projects in Alberta.

The pilot campaigns processed approximately 70,000 liters of brine. Boardwalk achieved a lithium recovery rate of 94.5%, while Park Place reached 95%. Combined, these projects host a total of 5,195,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) measured and indicated, with a grade of 81.6 mg/L lithium at Boardwalk and 24,474,000 tonnes LCE inferred at 80.1 mg/L lithium at Park Place.

The commercial-scale modules designed for LithiumBank have the potential to operate at around 25,000 cubic meters per day, producing approximately 3,500 tonnes per annum of LCE based on the grades from Boardwalk. The DLE technology's adsorbent materials, which are sourced in North America, have shown longevity through thousands of cycles over a six-year period, with a potential service life exceeding 10 years.
