  • Gauzy (GAUZ, Financial) unveils a groundbreaking 11,000 sq ft smart glass installation at MSC's new Miami Terminal.
  • The display serves over 30 million people annually, fulfilling both artistic and functional roles.
  • Project strategically positions Gauzy in the expanding global facade and transparent display markets worth $450B+ by 2032.

Gauzy Ltd. (Nasdaq: GAUZ), a leader in light and vision control technologies, has announced the completion of a revolutionary smart glass installation at MSC's newly opened terminal in Miami, Florida. The project integrates over 11,000 square feet of Gauzy's exterior-grade grey PDLC smart film into 75% of the terminal's facade, making it one of the largest of its kind in the world.

This smart glass facade transforms from transparent glass during daylight hours, allowing natural light to flood the terminal and offering clear views of the picturesque Biscayne Bay. At night, it morphs into a digital art display designed by Danielle Roney, showcasing real-time marine data in artistic animations. This dual-purpose design not only meets the public artworks ordinance requirement but also serves as a stunning piece of functional infrastructure.

Situated at the world’s largest cruise ship terminal, the display is set to engage approximately 36,000 daily voyagers and 42,000 passing vehicles, ultimately reaching an audience of over 30 million people annually. This project underscores Gauzy's growing influence in two burgeoning markets—the global facade glass market, forecasted to hit $412.16 billion by 2032, and the transparent display market, expected to reach $38.28 billion by the same year.

Eyal Peso, CEO of Gauzy, expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the partnerships with MSC and Fincantieri Infrastructure as pivotal in realizing this innovative installation. This collaboration not only showcases advanced smart glass technology but demonstrates its potential in reshaping passenger experiences within travel hubs globally.

With a firm foothold in Miami, one of the fastest-growing real estate markets in the U.S., Gauzy continues to capitalize on the city's ongoing building boom. The company has successfully completed various projects, with more on the horizon, highlighting the increasing demand for smart building solutions in South Florida.

Overall, the MSC Terminal installation not only enhances Gauzy's market presence but also signifies a significant step forward in integrating sustainable technology with immersive art in architectural applications.
