QIAGEN (QGEN) has unveiled its strategy to expand its automation portfolio with the introduction of three innovative sample preparation instruments, scheduled for release between 2025 and 2026. These developments aim to improve laboratory efficiency and sustainability while catering to diverse customer segments.

The first in the lineup, the QIAsymphony Connect, is set for a phased launch starting in 2025. This next-generation system builds upon QIAGEN's flagship platform, equipped to simultaneously process up to 96 samples with advanced automation and digital connectivity capabilities, primarily targeting oncology and genomics workflows.

Scheduled for a 2026 release, the QIAsprint Connect marks QIAGEN's foray into high-throughput sample processing. Capable of handling 192 samples per run in under 30 minutes of hands-on time, it scales throughput up to 600 samples per day. Notably, it reduces plastic waste by 50%, promoting sustainability across various sample types, including plant and human tissues.

The QIAmini, also expected in 2026, addresses the low-throughput laboratory market, offering smaller labs an affordable entry into automation. It complements QIAGEN's existing systems like the QIAcube Connect, enhancing flexibility for labs of all sizes.

These strategic product launches signify QIAGEN's commitment to providing scalable, eco-friendly solutions, reinforcing its market leadership in molecular diagnostics and life sciences. For more information on QIAGEN's automation portfolio, visit their official website.
