ReposiTrak (TRAK), a leading provider in food traceability and regulatory compliance solutions, has announced the onboarding of 40 new suppliers of nut butter products to its ReposiTrak Traceability Network® (RTN). This expansion comes as part of the company's ongoing efforts to provide a comprehensive and efficient solution for meeting the FDA's forthcoming 2028 traceability regulations.
Among the new entrants are a company founded in 2009 that specializes in nutrient-rich natural foods, a manufacturer of plant-based food products producing items like creamers and coffees, and a business established in 1988 that is renowned for its premium dry-roasted nuts and nut butters.
The RTN platform distinguishes itself by not requiring additional hardware or software, allowing suppliers to connect with an unlimited number of trading partners for a flat fee. ReposiTrak's chairman and CEO, Randy Fields, highlighted that suppliers can use the platform to share traceability data with all their customers, irrespective of the requirement for ReposiTrak.
This noteworthy development underscores ReposiTrak's strategic positioning in advance of the FDA's 2028 compliance deadline, showing both foresight and adaptability in the rapidly evolving regulatory environment. By eliminating hardware needs, the platform reduces barriers to entry, facilitating broad adoption and reinforcing ReposiTrak's competitive edge in the market.
