Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD), under the umbrella of Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions (OTC Pink: AITX), has announced a new contract to deploy its cutting-edge ROSA-P 360 devices in a large urban area. The collaboration with a municipal Business Improvement District aims to enhance the safety and visibility across key public spaces.

The ROSA-P 360 is a portable surveillance platform featuring dual ROSA units mounted to a ground-secured power enclosure, providing comprehensive 360-degree coverage. It is equipped with AI-powered detection capabilities including human, firearm, and vehicle detection, as well as license plate recognition. Among its features, the device also offers responsive digital signage, audio messaging, real-time notifications, and two-way communication with live video.

Troy McCanna, RAD's Chief Security Officer and a former FBI Special Agent, emphasized the efficiency of RAD’s solutions, stating that they reinforce local safety efforts without imposing additional strains on public safety budgets. The devices are expected to be operational within two weeks, pending final site preparations and coordination with local stakeholders.

RAD's ROSA-P 360, with its rapid deployment and visual presence, is positioned as an ideal solution for high-visibility areas where traditional security resources are limited. This strategic placement underscores RAD's expanding influence in urban safety initiatives and highlights the growing adoption of its advanced autonomous security technologies.

RAD’s deployment adds to a range of locations across the country that have integrated its solutions, including parks, business districts, and transit zones. These efforts reflect a broader trend towards adopting AI-driven security measures that streamline operations and reduce costs, while providing enhanced situational awareness.
