- Denarius Metals (DNRSF, Financial) confirms high-grade gold and silver mineralization at Zancudo Project in Colombia.
- 2024 drilling results reveal new Manto Brisas vein with notable gold and silver grades.
- Infill drilling program aimed at upgrading resources and supporting mine development.
Denarius Metals Corp. (DNRSF) announced the final results of its 2024 infill drilling program at the Las Brisas Target of the Zancudo Project in Colombia. Spanning 2,435 meters across 13 drill holes, the program confirmed high-grade gold and silver intercepts and unveiled a new manto vein, supporting the continuity of mineralization in the Manto Antiguo and Santa Catalina veins.
The program results highlighted significant gold and silver intercepts, including 23.11 g/t Au and 1,653 g/t Ag over 0.40 meters in drill hole ZM-193 and 18.27 g/t Au and 1,819 g/t Ag over 0.30 meters in hole ZM-185, both within the Manto Antiguo vein. Additionally, the discovery of the Manto Brisas vein yielded 12.12 g/t Au and 93 g/t Ag over 0.50 meters (ZM-185).
The infill drilling, conducted at 50x50 meters centers, is part of a broader strategy to upgrade Inferred Resources to the Indicated category, thereby facilitating near-term mine development. This initiative follows successful results from the Los Albertos Target earlier in the year, where 4,790 meters of drilling across 32 holes were completed.
Denarius Metals' Executive Chairman, Serafino Iacono, expressed satisfaction with the results, which bolster systematic infill drilling's effectiveness in improving resource delineation. With plans for an updated Mineral Resource estimate due in the third quarter, the company continues to advance its Zancudo mining operations, supported by ongoing exploration efforts.
