TSMC (TSM) Denies Joint Venture and Tech Licensing Rumors

TSMC (TSM, Financial) Chairman and President, C.C. Wei, clarified that the company is not in discussions for any joint ventures or technology licensing agreements with other companies. This statement rebuffs the recent reports suggesting that TSMC was negotiating a collaboration with Intel (INTC).

TSMC continues to maintain its growth outlook for the current year, focusing on doubling AI-related revenue. The company projects its capital expenditure for the year to range between $38 billion and $42 billion.
