Core Nickel Corp. (CSE: CNCO) has successfully completed its winter 2025 drilling program at the Halfway Lake Project in the Thompson Nickel Belt, Manitoba. The program consisted of 12 diamond drillholes, totaling 3,585.5 meters, aimed at probing high-priority targets identified in the 2024 VTEM survey.

Among the significant findings is a newly identified near-surface pyrrhotite-rich massive sulphide zone situated along trend HL-04, which remains open along strike and at depth. Notably, drillhole HFW-25-007 intersected a 35-centimeter massive sulphide breccia at a depth of 44.2 meters.

Additionally, Core Nickel identified a new zone featuring Pipe Formation stratigraphy in the southern portion of the property with structural and geological features akin to the Thompson deposit. The strategic location of the Halfway Lake Project provides access to critical infrastructure, including the Bucko Mill, railways, highways, and nearly 100% clean hydroelectric power.

Assay results from the drill program are currently pending.
