The University of Melbourne's Mobile Learning Unit (MLU) has announced the selection of Rimini Manage™ and Rimini Consult™ for Salesforce as part of their strategy to enhance and stabilize their eLearning platform. This decision aligns with MLU's mission to make learning more accessible and engaging through a robust online education system.
The partnership with Rimini Street (RMNI, Financial), a global provider of enterprise software support, will bolster MLU’s highly customized Salesforce environment, crucial for curriculum and case management processes. "Salesforce is integral to our operations. If it were to go down, it would impact student access to courses and our ability to manage support issues," stated Pat Violo, program office manager at MLU. The collaboration seeks to fill the knowledge and resource gap, driving operational efficiency and enabling MLU to scale its educational offerings.
Rimini Street's comprehensive services, combining managed and professional capabilities, were pivotal in winning the partnership. "Our ability to provide both managed services and professional services sets us apart in the industry," noted David Rowe, chief product and marketing officer at Rimini Street. This dual capability is expected to unlock new potentials for MLU's systems, promoting innovation and competitive business transformation.
