F5, Inc. (FFIV) has announced a robust financial performance for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, with revenue reaching $731 million, marking a 7% increase compared to the same period last year. This revenue growth was significantly driven by a 12% rise in product revenue, including a notable 27% increase in systems revenue.

The company attributes its strong financial results to its leadership and continuous innovation in addressing hybrid multicloud challenges, as stated by François Locoh-Donou, F5's President and CEO. Locoh-Donou highlighted the company's recent introduction of the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform, which provides comprehensive visibility and AI-driven insights across multiple environments.

GAAP net income for the quarter was reported at $146 million, equivalent to $2.48 per diluted share, compared to $119 million, or $2.00 per diluted share, in the previous year's second quarter. On a non-GAAP basis, net income rose to $201 million, or $3.42 per diluted share, up from $173 million, or $2.91 per diluted share, a year ago.

Looking forward, F5 anticipates revenue in the range of $740 million to $760 million for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, suggesting an 8% annual growth at the midpoint. The company also increased its full-year revenue guidance to 6.5%-7.5% growth, alongside an elevated non-GAAP earnings per share growth expectation of 8%-10%.
