BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN, OTCQX: BRCHF, ADR: BCHPY), a pioneer in neuromorphic AI technology, has announced a strategic alliance with Chelpis Quantum Corp. This collaboration will leverage BrainChip's Akida AKD1000 chips to develop advanced security solutions integrating post-quantum cryptographic capabilities. The initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the security infrastructure within the Quantum Safe Migration ecosystem in Taiwan.

Chelpis, recognized for its expertise in chip design and cybersecurity, is developing an M.2 card based on BrainChip's design. This card, incorporating the Akida AKD1000, will be instrumental in supporting cryptographic security solutions for various products. Chelpis has committed to purchasing a significant quantity of these chips for initial qualification and deployment, with plans to increase orders based on the project's success.

This collaboration is a foundational step towards creating an AI-PQC robotic chip aimed at meeting next-gen security and AI processing needs. In partnership with Mirle (2464.TW), the project has been submitted for review under Taiwan’s chip innovation program. The goal is to develop a system-on-chip (SoC) that integrates RISC-V, PQC, and NPU technologies, supporting manufacturing sectors with a focus on Made-in-USA initiatives.

Mirle intends to develop autonomous quadruped robots for industrial environments, incorporating advanced visual GenAI capabilities powered by BrainChip’s Akida IP. This integration will enhance low-power data processing and security in industrial robotics, potentially driving significant market validation in the sector.

BrainChip's CEO, Sean Hehir, emphasized the potential of Akida's neuromorphic AI to efficiently secure autonomous robotics with minimal energy consumption, marking a significant advancement in industrial robotic applications.
