Epson Robots, a global leader in SCARA robot manufacturing, has announced the release of its new GX-C Series robots. This advanced series is powered by the RC800A controller, which incorporates SafeSense technology to enhance both performance and safety. The GX-C Series includes four models — GX4C, GX8C, GX10C, and GX20C — each offering different reach options to cater to various industrial applications.

The GX-C Series is designed to improve productivity with features like GYROPLUS vibration reduction, multiple arm configurations, and the latest Epson RC+ 8.0 software for easy development. Additionally, the robots come equipped with batteryless encoders and built-in Ethernet, providing a compact and efficient solution for automation needs.

Notably, the SafeSense technology allows for human-robot interaction without the need for traditional safety fences, thereby reducing overall system footprint and costs. The GX-C Series is available in Standard, Cleanroom (ISO 3), and ESD Protected IP65 models, making it suitable for a wide range of demanding environments.

Epson Robots will be showcasing the GX-C Series at the Automate 2025 event in Detroit from May 12 to 15, 2025, providing live demonstrations and further insights into their capabilities. The new series is now available through Epson's network of distributor partners.
