Akamai Technologies, Inc. (AKAM) has announced the launch of its innovative Firewall for AI, a security solution designed to shield AI applications from evolving cyberthreats. Key features of the Firewall for AI include real-time AI threat detection with adaptive security rules, protection against prompt injection, and model exploitation. The solution also ensures compliance and data protection through flexible deployment options, which include Akamai edge, REST API, or reverse proxy, and proactively filters AI outputs to prevent toxic content and data leaks.
