- Intrepid Metals (INTR, IMTCF) launches a 5,000m drill program at Corral Copper in Arizona, targeting Ringo, Earp, and Holliday Zones.
- The 2024 Ringo Zone drilling yielded high-grade copper-gold-silver results, including a section with 20.20% Copper.
- Corral Copper's mineralization is geologically similar to the prolific Bisbee Camp.
Intrepid Metals Corp. (INTR, IMTCF) has officially commenced its second drill program at the Corral Copper Property, located in the Turquoise District of southeastern Arizona. This strategic phase targets the Ringo, Earp, and Holliday Zones over a mineralized area of 3.5 by 1.5 kilometers, with drilling managed by Godbe Drilling LLC.
The initial phase involves a 5,000-meter diamond drilling campaign starting at the Ringo Zone, which has previously demonstrated significant mineral potential. The 2024 program at Ringo unveiled impressive figures, including an intercept of 112.95 meters with 1.50% Copper, 0.53 grams per ton Gold, and 8.22 grams per ton Silver. Moreover, a standout section showed 20.20% Copper, 8.51 grams per ton Gold, and 250.00 grams per ton Silver over 1.40 meters.
The property is being explored for its potential in Carbonate Replacement Deposits (CRD), skarn copper-gold, and porphyry copper-gold deposits. Intrepid seeks to delineate and expand upon the existing mineralized zones, leveraging its geological similarity to the Bisbee Camp, which historically produced substantial copper yields.
In parallel, Intrepid Metals amended its agreement for the Tombstone South Property. The work commitment deadlines were extended to May 2026 and May 2027, in return for the issuance of 300,000 additional common shares and a US$25,000 payment.
Intrepid continues to advance its exploration programs with a strong focus on responsible development, seeking to capitalize on the potential of their projects in Arizona.
