This launch will occur via a SpaceX mission and represents a significant leap towards secure space-based communications infrastructure.
The upcoming satellite will introduce groundbreaking innovations such as encrypted communications with WISePhone devices and the integration of SEALCOIN, a decentralized agent enabling machine-to-machine (M2M) transactions from space. Built using SEALSQ semiconductors and WISeKey's advanced cryptographic keys, including quantum-resistant algorithms, the satellite is poised to offer enhanced security.
WISeSat.Space aims to provide secure IoT connectivity in remote areas, supporting various applications across sectors such as precision agriculture, environmental monitoring, industrial automation, healthcare, and disaster management. SEALCOIN, built on Hedera's Decentralized Ledger Technology, will enable autonomous and secure transactions initiated by the satellite with IoT devices.
