Alphabet's (GOOGL, Financial) CEO Sundar Pichai revealed during a U.S. antitrust trial that the company is working to make its AI model, Gemini, a built-in option on iPhones by the end of the year. This move signals Google's effort to expand its AI footprint through collaboration with Apple (AAPL). Pichai mentioned that he has met with Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, multiple times in 2024, aiming to finalize a partnership agreement.

Pichai expressed confidence in Gemini and emphasized the desire to offer users more AI choices. He noted that this initiative is not just about product integration but also about Google's strategic positioning in the mobile AI market.
