- San Diego International Airport selects Woolpert to implement Trimble Unity Maintain™ for enhanced asset management.
- The system, based on ESRI ArcGIS®, will leverage existing GIS data for improved efficiency and compliance.
- Woolpert to provide comprehensive services, including implementation, configuration, and support.
San Diego International Airport (SAN), the third busiest airport in California, has chosen Woolpert to implement the Trimble Unity Maintain™ enterprise asset management system. This strategic decision is geared towards streamlining maintenance operations and enhancing asset performance by integrating the solution with the airport's existing Geographic Information System (GIS) data.
The implementation, rooted in the ESRI ArcGIS® platform, will serve as a centralized system for computerized maintenance management. It aims to optimize GIS usage and minimize system overlaps. Such integration is crucial for supporting Part 139 Inspection Reporting and Safety Management System best practices, ensuring adherence to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards.
Woolpert’s role will encompass the implementation, configuration, training, maintenance, and technical support services for the Trimble (TRMB, Financial) system. These efforts underscore a growing industry trend towards utilizing geospatial-based systems as comprehensive asset management solutions. The deployment at San Diego International Airport is expected to establish a robust framework that brings operational efficiency and regulatory compliance into sharp focus, setting a benchmark for future implementations in critical infrastructure.
