  • Corero Network Security (DDOSF, Financial) achieves first global production deployment with Brazilian telecom provider Forte Telecom.
  • The NTD3400 platform offers up to 800Gbps mitigation capacity, allowing significant hardware consolidation.
  • Forte Telecom launches Forte Technology of America to extend advanced cybersecurity services distribution.

Corero Network Security (OTCQX: DDOSF), a specialist in distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection, has announced a significant achievement as its advanced NTD3400 platform is deployed globally for the first time by the Brazilian telecommunications provider, Forte Telecom. This deployment marks a crucial milestone in the global rollout of Corero's SmartWall ONEâ„¢ product family.

The NTD3400 platform, designed for high-performance DDoS protection, delivers an impressive mitigation capacity of up to 800Gbps per appliance, supported by 2x400G interfaces. This capacity allows service providers to scale protection efficiently as network throughput increases, while also facilitating hardware consolidation that reduces operational complexity and associated costs.

Carl Herberger, CEO of Corero Network Security, highlighted the deployment as a validation of the NTD3400's performance, flexibility, and scalability, demonstrating its ability to meet the evolving needs of service providers facing sophisticated DDoS threats without compromising on efficiency or uptime.

This successful implementation has also led Forte Telecom to establish a new division, Forte Technology of America, focused on expanding the distribution of advanced cybersecurity services. Forte Telecom's CEO, Sérgio Simas, emphasized the platform's performance and simplicity, which positions the company for more ambitious protection offerings in their region.

Both Corero and Forte Telecom will be showcasing the NTD3400's capabilities at the Abrint Global Congress, scheduled for May 7–9 at the Distrito Anhembi Pavilion in São Paulo. The event will provide further insights into how the platform supports innovative and efficient deployment models for ISPs and service providers across Latin America.
