Zefiro Methane Corp (ZEFIF) has announced that its subsidiary, Plants & Goodwin (P&G), has secured new contracts from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) for well remediation projects. These contracts include 10 wells located in Ashtabula County, enhancing Zefiro's footprint in environmental remediation services.

In addition to the government contracts, P&G has also secured contracts from two private-sector clients in Pennsylvania for plugging 15 oil and gas wells. This indicates a strategic expansion of Zefiro's services in the Appalachian region, as the company builds its client base with both public and private entities.

Previously, in January 2025, P&G was awarded contracts by ODNR to manage 50 oil and gas wells, of which 28 wells have been successfully completed. This milestone underscores P&G's commitment to addressing environmental concerns related to methane emissions from end-of-life wells.

Moreover, Zefiro recently completed significant remediation work involving 18 wells in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, including a $500,000 project to mitigate toxic water contamination. These efforts reflect the company's dedication to enhancing environmental quality and protecting community health in the region.
