Spotify (SPOT, Financial) announced that Apple (AAPL) has approved its application update in the U.S., allowing users to access pricing information, purchase links, and more payment options within the app. This development follows a U.S. federal judge's ruling that ordered Apple to stop charging commission for in-app purchases made through web links. Spotify quickly responded by submitting the updated app, becoming one of the first to introduce purchasing functionality.

Jeanne Moran, a spokesperson for Spotify, highlighted that after nearly a decade of efforts, the company can now freely display clear pricing information and purchase links, marking a significant milestone for developers and entrepreneurs.
