TTEC Holdings, Inc. (TTEC), a leader in customer experience technology, is advancing its operations in India by opening a new customer experience center in Mohali, also known as Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (SAS Nagar). This strategic expansion will create 400 new jobs to support a significant U.S.-based healthcare client, with the potential for additional growth.
In an effort to enhance service delivery, the Mohali center will utilize advanced AI-powered technologies. These include TTEC Perform for improving agent performance, TTEC Let Me Know for efficient knowledge retrieval, and TTEC Clarity for accent softening and translation, ensuring a seamless and human-centric customer experience.
TTEC selected Mohali due to its robust pool of English-proficient talent and a cultural environment that aligns with the company’s values of service-first and community cohesion. Initially, the center will operate from C-205, Phase 8B, Industrial Area before transitioning to Quark City, a renowned IT hub, in August.
This move is part of TTEC’s broader growth pattern in India, where they added 800 positions in 2024 to support centers in Mumbai and Hyderabad. With this expansion, TTEC now employs approximately 3,500 individuals across key locations in India, including Ahmedabad and Chennai.
John Abou, President of TTEC Engage, emphasized the importance of digital-first CX programs and the role of AI in elevating service outcomes, streamlining operations, and enhancing client confidence and efficiency. TTEC’s commitment to India remains strong, reflecting both the region's talent and its strategic significance in the company's global delivery strategy.
