Blend Labs, Inc. (BLND), a leader in digital banking and consumer lending solutions, has announced a partnership with Glia, a company known for unified human and AI interactions. This collaboration aims to transform the way bank and credit union lending teams interact with customers by integrating Glia’s chat, voice, video, and AI tools directly into Blend's Digital Banking platform. This integration allows lenders to guide applicants within the loan application process without leaving the platform, enhancing borrower engagement and completion rates.

The integration employs Glia’s ChannelLess® Architecture, which unifies voice, digital service, and AI into a single experience, ensuring context preservation across every interaction. This approach seeks to eliminate data silos and streamline the lending process, which in turn, can lead to higher conversion rates and more closed loans, ultimately resulting in real revenue for lenders.

Landmark Credit Union, an early adopter of this technology, recognizes the potential impact this integration can have on transforming lending support for their members. According to Ryan Jandris, Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy at Landmark Credit Union, the partnership allows for digital-centric consumers to maintain their preferred channel, even during complex interactions, thereby enhancing the lending experience.

Blend powered approximately $1.2 trillion in loan applications in 2024 by assisting banks, credit unions, IMBs, and servicers in streamlining operations. With this ongoing partnership with Glia, Blend continues to expand its ecosystem to offer seamless integration and enhance borrower engagement and decision-making processes.
