Keysight Technologies, Inc. (KEYS, Financial) has announced the launch of System Designer for USB, a cutting-edge solution that supports the latest USB standards, including USB4 Gen2, Gen3, and Gen4. This tool is designed to significantly enhance the design productivity of high-speed digital USB systems used in personal computers, mobile devices, and edge AI applications.
The System Designer for USB provides a comprehensive modeling and simulation environment that adheres to the latest USB4 standards. It utilizes three-level pulse-amplitude modulation (PAM3) signal modulation and offers speeds of up to 120Gbps within the USB-C connector, addressing the rising demand for data transfer efficiency in modern devices.
Key features of the System Designer include an integrated simulation-driven compliance test solution, which helps reduce design costs and minimizes design iterations. The solution also supports multi-link, multi-lane, and multi-level (PAM3) configurations, simplifying the setup of complex USB systems.
