MediaCo Holding Inc. (MDIA) has announced significant expansions in its multicultural and multiplatform content offerings at the IAB NewFronts 2025. Following its acquisition of Estrella Media's operations, MediaCo now connects with over 20 million people every month through a diverse range of video, audio, and event platforms, catering primarily to Hispanic and Black audiences.
Notably, EstrellaTV, a key component of MediaCo's portfolio, is among the top networks to experience single-digit growth in the coveted Monday to Friday 7 PM to 11 PM slot, marking a 33% audience increase in April. Meanwhile, Spanish-language FAST channels have witnessed an 18% growth in viewership compared to the previous year, with video ad impressions seeing a 101% increase over the past six months.
MediaCo's new content lineup includes thousands of hours of interactive and live programming. Highlights feature EstrellaTV's "Don Cheto Al Aire Live," "Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento: Nueva Era," and live Spanish-language coverage of Tigres Liga MX Soccer. Moreover, the launch of the HOT 97 TV FAST Channel will bring hip-hop culture into streaming platforms, featuring exclusive shows like "Ebro in the Morning" and "Nessa On Air."
In addition to content expansion, MediaCo has formed key distribution and advertising partnerships, including ad sales representation for Hemisphere Media's FAST Channels and distribution expansion for Curiosity Stream Spanish-language content. New EstrellaTV affiliates in Boston, Colorado, and Texas, alongside a local advertising partnership with DO IT Outdoors, were also announced.
