IAG to Modernize Fleet with Order of Boeing and Airbus Aircraft

International Airlines Group (IAG, Financial), the parent company of British Airways, has announced a significant order for 53 new aircraft from Boeing and Airbus. The order includes 32 Boeing 787-10s and 21 Airbus A330-900neo planes, with deliveries scheduled between 2028 and 2033. This procurement comes in the wake of a new trade agreement between the US and the UK, enabling IAG's airlines to modernize their fleets with more efficient and environmentally friendly models.
