In the first quarter, Turkcell (TKC, Financial) reported a revenue increase to TRY 47.96 billion, compared to TRY 42.57 billion in the previous year. The company also saw 153,000 new mobile postpaid customers, with postpaid users now making up 76% of its subscriber base. Additionally, Turkcell recorded 30,000 new fiber connections.
Mobile Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) saw a growth of 15.9%, while residential fiber ARPU increased by 17.7%. Turkcell attributed this strong performance to its successful inflation-adjusted pricing strategy and significant progress in its Techfin sector. Despite challenging economic conditions and intense industry competition, the company’s diversified business model continued to support its growth and strategic goals, positioning Turkcell for sustained expansion and long-term value enhancement.
