  • Spark Energy Minerals (SPARF, Financial) reports promising rare earth element findings at Caladão Target, Arapaima Project, Brazil.
  • Peak values of 6,417ppm TREO in stream sediment samples and 3,041ppm TREO in soil samples reported.
  • Plans to accelerate exploration alongside lithium targets, with drill testing scheduled for 2025.

Spark Energy Minerals (SPARF) has released encouraging results from its rare earth element (REE) surface sampling at the Caladão Target, part of the Arapaima Project located in Brazil's Lithium Valley. This 4,000-hectare target is strategically contiguous with Axel REE Limited's project.

The exploration program has yielded significant findings, including peak values of 6,417 parts per million (ppm) Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) in stream sediment samples, with 11 samples reporting values above 1,000 ppm TREO. Additionally, soil samples demonstrated a peak value of 3,041 ppm TREO, where 14 samples exceeded 1,000 ppm TREO. The exploration also revealed anomalous gallium values, peaking at 94.07 ppm Ga2O3.

Spark Energy Minerals is planning to accelerate its REE exploration activities and also advance its three primary lithium targets. The company anticipates starting drill testing by late 2025. The recent funding secured from Sorbie Capital will bolster these exploration programs, which are critical for enhancing the company's stature in the rapidly growing lithium and rare earth minerals sector.

The promising results align with similar findings from neighboring Axel REE, cementing the Caladão Granite area as an emerging hub for critical mineral resources. The strategic location and the high-grade mineral findings present a significant opportunity for Spark Energy Minerals to expand its mineral exploration footprint in Brazil's renowned mining regions.

Spark Energy Minerals' exploration efforts are set to continue with a focus on both the REE and lithium prospects, underscoring the company's commitment to developing valuable mineral assets in this prolific region.
