Apple is preparing to introduce its first foldable iPhone, targeting the second half of 2026 for its launch. According to supply chain sources, the company has provided shipment targets to its suppliers. This upcoming model is expected to be a large foldable screen iPhone.

The supply chain company involved in this development supplies various components for Apple devices and is actively seeking to become a key supplier for components of the foldable iPhone. Recent reports indicate that related components have been sent for testing, but obtaining incremental business orders for these key parts is contingent on Apple's factory review.

Once Apple finalizes the selection of its suppliers for the foldable iPhone, the process will move into the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase. An industry expert suggests that, given Apple's large customer base, there is likely to be significant market demand for the foldable iPhone. However, the sales volume will largely depend on the final pricing of the device.
