Tesla (TSLA) Employee Fired for Creating Website Criticizing Elon Musk

Tesla's (TSLA, Financial) sales employee, Matthew Labrot, was dismissed after creating a website that openly criticized CEO Elon Musk. On April 24, Labrot launched the site anonymously, featuring an open letter calling for Tesla to appoint a new CEO. The following day, he was contacted by Tesla's human resources department and was informed that his employment was terminated for using company resources to create the website, which was deemed inconsistent with Tesla's values.
