AMSTERDAM, May 13, 2025 -- XPENG, a leading AI mobility company, has announced a strategic partnership with Plugsurfing, one of the largest EV charging service providers in Europe. This collaboration grants XPENG (XPEV) customers immediate access to more than 940,000 charging points spread across 27 European nations, effectively covering over 85% of Europe's public charging infrastructure.
Through the integration of Plugsurfing's Drive API, XPENG vehicle users can easily locate charging stations, view real-time availability and pricing, and process payments via the touchscreen interface of their vehicles or the XPENG app. This user-friendly service requires just a one-time registration with an email and credit card, with new customers receiving a complimentary charging card for convenience.
The partnership significantly strengthens XPENG's market position in Europe, aiding in its expansion strategy. Currently operating in 16 countries, XPENG plans further growth into Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. This network integration offers existing and new XPENG customers hassle-free charging solutions, with charges only for electricity and parking, eliminating additional fees.
