ReposiTrak (TRAK), recognized as the world’s largest food traceability and regulatory compliance network, has announced the addition of 40 new grocery suppliers to its expanding ReposiTrak Traceability Network® (RTN). This initiative is strategically designed to help suppliers meet the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) traceability requirements ahead of the 2028 deadline without the need for extra hardware.
The new additions include suppliers with strong backgrounds in innovation, featuring companies like a pioneer in slow-simmered bone broths, a craft cold brew brand specializing in New Orleans-style blends, and a cooking oil company offering restaurant-quality oils. These suppliers will be integrated into the RTN to share intricate Key Data Elements (KDEs) associated with Critical Tracking Events (CTEs) along their supply chains.
Randy Fields, chairman and CEO of ReposiTrak, highlighted that the platform facilitates compliance with both federal and retailer-specific requirements, simplifying the process of sharing traceability data regardless of customer demands. The network's no-hardware model offers suppliers a flexible connection to numerous trading partners, promoting widespread compliance with evolving regulations.
ReposiTrak, a software application service company with a market cap of $398.32 million, is dedicated to providing solutions that mitigate risk and enhance supply chain transparency across the food industry.
