  • V2X Inc. (VVX, Financial) secures an $379 million contract with the U.S. Army, enhancing its position in defense training.
  • This LTRaC contract extends over eight years and completes V2X's trio of major Army training engagements.
  • The contract involves lifecycle management, engineering, and manufacturing support for training systems.

V2X Inc. (VVX) has been awarded a strategic Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the U.S. Army for the Live Training, Ranges, and Combat Training Centers (LTRaC), which has a ceiling value of $379 million over an eight-year duration. The contract includes a five-year base period and a three-year option period, providing the company with significant long-term revenue potential.

The LTRaC contract supports the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) and focuses on life-cycle product line management, engineering, and manufacturing for existing and new training instrumentation systems. Under this agreement, V2X will offer support for live fire ranges, Combat Training Centers (CTC), home station training environments, and potentially extend services to U.S. Marine Corps live training systems.

This acquisition further solidifies V2X's dominance in the Army training sector, complementing its existing engagements under the BEST MAC and W-TRS contracts. V2X CEO, Jeremy C. Wensinger, highlighted that the LTRaC contract completes a "trifecta" of premier Army training contracts, ensuring comprehensive support from daily operations to modernization and advanced instrumentation.

The contract spans technology refresh efforts, modernization initiatives, research and development, and the delivery of new systems for live training applications, positioning V2X as an integral provider in the defense training technology market.
