DexCom, Inc. (DXCM), a leader in real-time continuous glucose biosensing, has announced the promotion of Jake Leach to the expanded role of President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Leach, who has been with DexCom for over 21 years, has played a pivotal role in steering the company's innovative biosensing platforms since its first commercial system launch.
In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer, Leach was responsible for end-to-end product development and executive leadership functions, including global operations, research and development, quality management, regulatory, and medical affairs. As President, Leach will now also oversee DexCom's corporate development and strategic initiatives.
